On September 17 – 18, 2011, for the 3rd year – Jeanine Lunsford will once again be joining more than 2,000 cyclists for Bike MS: Waves to Wine Ride 2011. This two-day bike ride isn’t a race, but it does raise money in the race to find the cure for multiple sclerosis. Jeanine will be joining ”Smyelin As We Ride” team for 90 miles of biking through farms and vineyards in Sonoma County. (Click “My Personal Page” link below to view her training blog).
Jeanine rides to support her daughter, Christina, and others who deal with MS every day and to help researches find a cure….soon. ”Encouragement and/or donations from friends and family really do make a difference,” says Jeanine, “I can’t thank everyone enough for their support.”
Last year cyclists raised over $1.9 Million to help the 12,000 Northern Californians living with MS, a degenerative disease of the central nervous system. Researchers are making progress, but the cause and cure are still over the horizon. And that’s why I saddle up to ride.
Please help people living with MS in our community by making a one-time, tax-deductible donation. Click on the link at the bottom of this message to visit Jeanine’s personal page to make a donation. Any amount you feel comfortable giving is deeply appreciated.
With your support, they can make a positive impact today in the lives of 12,000 Northern Californians living with multiple sclerosis.
Thank you!
